स्वैर अनुवाद (free-form translation)

I have confidence in Sunshine  
I have confidence in Rain         
I have confidence...                  
the Spring will come again        
And besides that, you see       
I have confidence in me !!

कडा रुपेरी काळोखाची, तीही पुन्हा उजळेल
रवितेजाचा मला भरवसा, क्षितिजावर झळकेल
वसंत येईल पुन्हा एकदा, कोकिळ घालिल साद
संकटातही अभेद्य राहे,
माझा आशावाद, माझा आशावाद !!

    confidence = आशावाद? Bharavasa kivva Aatma-vishwas would have been apt...but kavita changli jamli aahe

    Confidence is not exactly hope. But that's why I call it a 'free-form translation'! And the essence is to keep your spirits up even in the dark phase of life, isn't it?
